Should I go out with this Black guy idk wht to do? (interracial dating) is it ok?
ok so i was out shopping today and some how my relationship status came up while iwas checking out the clerk ended up handing me his number and asking for mine. He seems like a nice guy but the only problem he is black. OK dont get all " OMG YOUR A RACIST" on me b.c im not but i will be honest i usually dont find myself attracted to guys outside my race im white. Idk if im attracted to him but he deff seemed cool so question is should i go out with him for coffee or something and get to know him or avoid the situation all togather? I know my dad would freak if he knew. But at the same time i cant help but think i should at least get to know the guy before i judge him.Advice?just b.c im not sure if i should go out wiht him b.c he is black doesnt make me a racist. In the south its hard to date interracially and anyone who disagrees with that and lives down here is full of sh t. I've seen my friends go through it with the stares and ppl talking. i'm asking for advice not criticisms.

I personally have no problem with it. To me, if a person loves you and makes you happy, that's all that should matter. I really like this guy, and he's chinese and I'm white. It doesn't bother me, but we live in the deep south, and amazingly enough, some people still think it's wrong. Honestly, I could care less about what people in my tiny little town say and think, but I just thought it'd be good to get some outside opinions on the matter. I have never dated outside my race but am open to it. Just not many guys of other races down here in the south would openly admit that they are attracted to black women. My ex boyfriend was really mixed but his black side was naturally dominant. I have a very judge mental friend and her family is completely racist. I listen to them talk about it all the time. And she is influenced by them. One drunken night I asked her if I was to marry a white guy she probably wouldn't want to be in my wedding. She said " How could you say that" but never answered my question. I be damned if one of my bridesmaids is someone who don't believe in my love for this guy who I'm holding hands with at the alter, no matter what his color is....Sorry to get off the subject but what do you think?

There's this Black girl at school I like and I think she likes me too. I wouldn't mind dating her but I'm not sure if I would want to marry her.Are there a lot of people who marry the first person they date? If I date this girl from school, this would be my first date.It's not so much that I wouldn't love her enough to marry her. I'm just concerned about the hardships our children would bear if we had children. I'm afraid if I date this girl, she might want to marry me someday. If that time came, I wouldn't want to tell her it's because I want White children. I'm afraid of hurting her feelings down the road. I am currently dating a black male and I am a white female. My question is why do so many black women have a problem with a white female dating a black male? I understand white people have a problems with this two, but most of my friends are accepting of it. But when we go out I don't understand why it's necessary for a black women to stare me down just because im with a black male.
